Book box

I created a "book" box for a geeky group. I wanted to make more of a Harry Potter theme, but he was very elusive now that I was looking for him, so I went another direction. My recipient likes Harry Potter especially Ravenclaw, teal and purple combos and vintage.
Front:
I had gotten a Harry Potter spell book for a granted wish of Harry Potter ephemera. It didn't actually work for my box, but I did rip out a couple of the pages for backgrounds. The purple pages are from this book. I added a piece of random book page because the piece just needed something between it and the background. This focus piece was originally a necklace I picked up at a thrift store. It was purple and white acrylic stones. I don't have paint, so I colored it with teal pigment stamping ink and sealed it with mod podge. The background paper was a bit too small to cover the whole front, so I added some teal glitter washi to it.
Inside:
She also liked baking, so I added the macaron paper to the inside. I also added some vintage trim to the left side and an applique. I added a purple butterfly and some teal paper flowers to tie in the purple and teal theme. I also added vintage purple seam binding.
Box:
This was an update after I had taken the above photo. I had received a Ravenclaw crest postcard. I thought it was going to be a thinner material and had planned to put it on the front, but it arrived a bit too late. I cut it down and put it in the box, to tie in the Harry Potter theme inside.
Back:
I covered the back with the same paper from the front and the teal washi. I added an image of Harry Potter from some stationery I was sent.
Spine:
The Ravenclaw colors are navy and bronze. Bronze is hard to find, but I found these gem stickers at Hobby Lobby and thought they'd be perfect. The blue is a piece of fabric, as the stickers didn't quite cover the whole spine, I wish it was more navy. I also added a Harry Potter charm that I took off of a bookmark I was sent.
I REALLY LOVE how this turned out. I hope my partner does, too.

Under the sea flip book

I had a hard time with this one, I just couldn't get motivated.
I used backgrounds from a paper pad, attached them to a folded paper for the flip book.
This one the background already had the mermaid, I added the foam shells, the sea creatures, the tag and the clear sticker.
First flip:
The top background has a bunch of mermaids. I added all the stickers on top of it.
Back background: I just added a fish postcard I had cut down. I added a few stickers on top of it.
Second flip:
I used some striped blue/white paper for the middle piece. I made some pockets with the seahorse paper. I put some washi samples and fussy cut pieces to them.
The bottom piece I used some scale paper for the background, with the large purple piece attached to it. I just added a bunch of sea creature stickers and some gems to it.
The back:
I just added a sticker with my info to the background.

Random stuff

ATC:
I had the travel background already, I added the star, backpack, scallop, and word stickers.
Fall ATCs:
Left: background of pumpkins, layered some orange paper and the pumpkin spice everything sticker. Thought it was a bit tiring, so I added the muffin, leaf and cup sticker as well.
Right: Background is a glittery paper, layered some orange paper, the leaf and chipboard heart sticker as well as the words.
Junk Journal Clusters:
This was a challenge for me. I couldn't quite figure them out.
Left: blue scrap of paper with some other scraps and a sticker on top.
Top right: This one is my favorite. I used a tag and some random scraps with a die cut on top.
Bottom right: I just layered a couple tags for this one.
I've been having some fun with a Paint by Sticker book. It's like paint by number, there's corresponding stickers to labeled pieces. They are of famous paintings.
This purple one was my first:
You can see all the white spaces, because I didn't realize how hard it was to get the stickers in the correct places.

This one had the smallest pieces:
I was not a big fan of those.

Homemade tag

I signed up for a Skillful Saturday tag, basically we just had to make something for our partner. I chose a to do a flip book. I had found the bases in my stash, so just taped them together and went from there.
The front:
I added the trim at the bottom, and the gold heart stickers.
First flip:
I made a pocket with a 3x4 journaling card with some lace trim on the top including a bunch of tags in it. On the right side, I added the tape at the bottom and the sticker at the top.
Second flip:
In the middle, I added the strip of green with the pink on top, the yellow sticker on the bottom, some butterfly stickers and a shell sticker. The butterfly stickers were originally clear, so I put them on white paper and fussy cut them out.
On the right, I added a doily, a sticker on top of that, some sticky notes and a sticker.
The back:
There's more of the trim from the front a cute label sticker.
All packaged up:
I wrapped it with some vintage trim, added the vintage pin and a dangle from a necklace to it.
I LOVE how this turned out. My partner appreciated it as well.

Blue and Yellow pocket letter

Thought I'd sign up for a blue and yellow pocket letter swap as a challenge. I know I have more yellow items, I just couldn't find them.
I had some blue backgrounds someone had sent me, but they weren't exactly the right size and then I lost one (the top left card). The stars are chipboard stickers. I received the lemon washi in a swap. I basically just raided my stuff and took out all the yellow items. It's mostly chipboard stickers, die cuts, and stickers.
The goodies:
I had these sticker sheets and added them as well as some of the stickers I used on the front, some washi samples, gems, paper clips, glitter and sticky notes.
The back:
These aren't affixed, I wanted the back to have the same colors as the front, so I cut some yellow paper and some blue paper.

Cards

A few cards I've made recently.
Butterfly:
I took a background I already had, added some butterfly punches, some star stickers and some word stickers. It was for a butterfly swap where we had to send a card and three die cuts.
Card sketch:
We were supposed to create a card with some specific colors.
The background is a plain piece of mint cardstock, I added some strips of washi tape and then some striped paper on top of that. I then layered a scalloped edge circle punch and a leaf from a flower package, with some tags on top of them. On one tag I added some butterfly punches, the other some flower punches and jewels for the middles.
T card:
All I could think of was tag, so I layered some paper and a tag I had gotten and added a sticker with words.
a challenge:
My friend had sent me the background card with the collaged bits and asked me to create a card with it. I added the book page and chipboard butterfly sticker as well as the yellow washi and words and the flat back pearls. I thought it turned out great.
Hot Air Balloon:
I just used a card background, added some fussy cut hot air balloons, one I added another hot air balloon on top with some foam tape. I also added the words to the bottom.
