Butterfly card

Signed up for a butterfly card swap, I admit I made this card for a pink swap awhile ago.
I used a polka dot background, a journaling card, a die cut and some trim.
We also had to include 5 butterfly die cuts:
And here's what I received:
 Two beautiful butterfly cards,
and a bunch of die cuts:

Random art

One of my groups periodically puts up challenges, and this time it was a bit more complicated:
We called it a flowerpot card, I have no idea if that's what it is.
My finished product:
And the card out of the pot:
I'd like to make this card again, I think I'd put the flowers up on foam dots as they were kinda hard to get over the top of the flower pot.

Made a few tags:
I really like the vertical tag on the left. It's wicked simple, all I did was add the butterfly pieces. The horizontal tag has some paper across the center, with a piece of patterned acetate on top and some puffy butterfly stickers on top with a 'never give up' sticker on the bottom. The last one has some grass washi on the bottom with some flower stickers attached with foam tape, a butterfly sticker and a 'smile' sticker.

Butterfly pocket letter

I signed up for a butterfly pocket letter swap:
I basically just used a bunch of stickers and washi and die cuts. I added a lot of gems to the die cuts to make them a bit more exciting.
The goodies:
I added some die cuts, some stickers, a bling butterfly and some punches. I always try to add some of what I've used on to make an item as part of the goodies.
The back:
I wanted to use this paper for the front, but I didn't have enough, which is why it's on the back with some polka dot paper.
What I received in return:
She went way over the top, it's beautiful.
The goodies:
 And more extras:
I love the photo realistic butterflies.

Fabric art

Signed up to make some kind of art with fabric in one of my swaps. This was my first thought:
And then I fell in love with it after I got it done minus the the flower. So, I made this one instead:
It's a little out of my comfort zone with the colors I used. I cut out the sun and sewed it onto some satiny fabric. You can't really tell, but there is some kind of decorative sewing at the top. The background is a dyed fabric I made in a class, I added some metallicy tulle over the top of it, then the brownish fabric behind the sun. I also added the red metallicy piece on the top and some gold trim to the bottom.
Here's what I received in return:
It's a banner with some vintage looking flowers printed on it.
I didn't want to unravel it as I don't really have a place to put it and I wouldn't get it wrapped up as nicely.

Card sketch

Had a prompt for a card sketch in one of my groups
We were supposed to make a win with three of the squares. I chose bunny, pink and torn paper:
I used some mulberry paper I had received in a swap, tore it and used it as a background. I used a bunny die cut I got in an Easter swap last year. I stamped 'Happy Easter' on some pink paper and added that.

Flipbook

I signed up for a flip book tag and decided to try and go simpler, basing it off the last flipbook I got in this group. I used some 4x6 journaling cards for the base.
Front:
On this one, I added the chipboard flower sticker to the middle, I added some mini gems to the middle of the flowers and the 'you can do it'
First spread:
I made a pocket on the left side with a 3x4 journaling card, I put some planner stickers and washi samples in it. On the right I cut out part of a vintage Easter card.
Second spread:
I just added some bags of sequins to the middle piece. The right side flips open.
I added some paper clips (you'll see why in the next photo) and some stickers.
Flipped open:
I added sticky notes on the left side and stickers on the right side.
Here's what I received in return:
 First flip:
 Second flip:
 Back:
 Goodies:
It's a very simple and cute flip book.

pocket letter

In one of my groups, I signed up to send someone a pocket letter. I noticed she liked mermaids, so I made a mermaid one:
I had these mermaid wall stickers from the Dollar Tree. I used some spotty paper as the background and added some holographic stickers that I got in a swap.
The goodies:
sticky notes, memo sheets, glitter, stickers, more of the wall art stickers, more of the holographic stickers, and some washi samples. I included another of the wall art mermaids and got it sent as a large envelope, that never happens to me.
What I received in return:
I love the vintagey nature feel to it. Also it's a bit 3D, the black viney thing on the left is some kind of thick chipboard.
The goodies:

Lots of fun stuff.

Use what You Get

I've been doing a series of swaps in one of my groups where we send our partner a die cut and they make a card with it. I admit, I keep sending my partners die cuts I don't want.
Here's what I sent out:
Here's what I received:
And the card I made with it:
The first thing I thought of when I saw the wheelbarrow was to fill it with flowers. I really liked these 3D paper ones, I couldn't exactly find a sentiment I liked, so I just used this sticker that says Hello Spring. I might add some grass washi just to ground the wheelbarrow.

Vintage library Pockets

This is the third library card pocket swap I've done. I really like making these, of course I always lose the template in between the swaps and freak out cause I don't want to tear apart another pocket.
This time the theme was vintage.
I covered the pockets with vintage book pages, added some Time Holtz pieces on top of some stickers.
Tags:
I used some vintagey looking ledger paper, added some flat back pearls to the edges and a sequin and punched the hole at the top. I also added some fuzzy thread to them. I originally was going to just make them library cards, but realized the swap was for tags.
What I received:
They're very cute, I just don't appreciate that one of them has a quote with God in it. No one ever seems to ask anymore. I'm thinking of passing that one off to a friend.
