Vintage canvas

Patriotic ATCs:
I angeled for someone that got flaked on. I like the one with the houses, I just cut everything out and attached it to the background. The other card is just a bunch of stickers.
Vacation mini pocket letter:

I had the girl die cut I wanted to use, so basically just layered some stuff on a sand background.
Fairy bookmarks:
I just layered and attached things. I thought I had more fairy images.
Beachy dreams flipbook, front:
I went with a paper bag flip book. I had these floral bags that I used as the base. I covered the pages with water paper and added this photograph paper to the front and back covers. I added the parrot sticker and layered the 'life's a beach' piece.
First pages:
I added some sand paper to the two larger pages with some flip flops and a paradise sticker on this one. The tiny page on the right is actually a pocket, I added the list and palm trees at sunset.
Second pages:

Again following the layout of the last pages, I added the palm trees at sunset for the smaller page and sand paper to the larger page. I added a postcard on the right page and a couple pieces of ephemera. The small page is another pocket.
Back cover:
All the goodies:
I cut down my scraps to fit in the pockets between the pages. I included the rest of the sticker packs I used and some washi samples as well as a sequin mix. I had picked up a Prima paper pad at Hobby Lobby and noticed it was beach themed when I got home, so I cut up the cut aparts and put them in as well. I totally just picked up the paper pad because I've never seen a Prima one on sale.
Altered canvas:
I signed up to do an altered canvas swap in one of my groups. This is the second attempt, I fell in love with the first one and decided I couldn't part with it. This one is much simpler. I glued the fabric on to the canvas, watercolored the fish and added the vintage button. After taking the photo, I added some red gems to the spots on the fish. I'm hoping it's not too simple for my partner. I really love how it turned out.
Here's the first attempt:
I think it's the vintagey vibe. I had this calendar with these beautiful flower and butterfly pictures on it. The flower wasn't quite big enough to cover the canvas, so I added a book page. I used some foam tape to pop up the butterfly. I added some rub ons to the top, the right top corner and the middle (I wish I'd left the middle one off). I added the floral strip to the bottom and the feather piece. I found the gem strip in a jar of buttons and added that as a finishing piece.
Not sure what I'm going to do with this, but I really like how it turned out.

Productive day

I was very productive today. Got a few swaps ready to be mailed and I got some stuff made. I'm actually now caught up on making things until next week. I'm very proud of myself. Here's what I made today.
A card with no theme.

My partner likes butterflies, so that's what I did. I just covered a card base, layered some paper, added the butterfly die cut and the word.

Summer ATCs
I did a lot of layering on the 2nd one.

Vintage twinchies

I rather like how these turned out. I started with a paper that looked kinda vintage, I cut it down to 12x2. I added a sticker that ended up not quite being 12" long. I cut them apart at this point. I added a circle sticker and then some rub ons and then the random numbers. At this point, a couple were a bit messed up (the blue showing on one and stickers coming loose on another one), so I covered them with packing tape. I then added the words and some more rub ons. I was going to put the rub ons on some white paper and layer them on the originals, but one fell on one of them and they come off rather easily, so I just place them on random ones and I was done. I was going to put some more dimension on them, but then realized they'd have to be mailed as a parcel, this way they can be mailed flat.

A llama card and matching bookmark:

I had received these die cuts awhile ago and had just been hoarding them. I started with the bookmark, the llama barely fit on it. I chose a different view of the llama for the card. I love that I got to use these and how cute they turned out.

Mermaid File Folder Pocket Letter

I love making file folder pocket letters. I love the pocket letters, but adding something else to decorate and fill with goodies is fun, too. This time, the theme was mermaid.
I had picked up these decorated file folders awhile ago with the thought of using them for the this craft. This one had some writing on it, and the mermaid paper piece I had didn't quite cover it, so I layered her on some other paper and stuck her down. I had gotten a package of mermaids, fish, octopuses, narwhals and starfish in the dollar spot of Target that I knew would work perfectly for this. The trim is just to cover up the staples.
Inside:
I couldn't really get in the mood to decorate the inside of the file folder. I had a mermaid paper kit that I got all the paper from for this. It was actually what I was thinking about when I signed up for this swap. The scale paper and cut aparts are from that paper pack. The seashell paper I had gotten in a swap.
The pocket letter: The background paper is from that paper pack, the big mermaid is actually a wall sticker from Dollar Tree. The Wild piece was from the paper pack, I put it on some purple glitter paper just to give it a little dimension. The starfish are from the mermaid paper pack, the sand colored stars on top of them are from the wall art stickers. I added some 'seaweed' pieces I got in a swap. I also added some pink gems and a wooden shell piece.
I included gems, sequins, stickers, paper pieces, leftover paper, labels, die cuts, washi and some frames I had for the goodies. I always try to include a bit more of what I used on the pocket letter as my goodies, so people can use some of that for their future products. For the back page, I had attached the mermaid on the right and then realized I didn't leave a lot of room for a pocket, so I just found some scale paper and made it into a pocket. The other mermaid and the things on the pocket are all sticky notes. I put a shell behind the pocket and made a shaker tag to go in the pocket. The blue acetate was wrapping on a birthday present I got. I also added a word piece on some glitter paper to the tab.
The back:
Not exciting, I didn't really decorate it, this is how the back of the file folder came, I added some paper to cover the staples. I was really inspired to decorate the front and do the pocket letter, but then I lost my mojo. I think it turned out ok anyway.
