Sweet Treats flip book

I signed up to do a sweet treats flip book in one of my facebook groups, here's what I created:
I used the half cards I got at Target around Christmas time and covered them with two different patterned paper, one with swirls, the other with circles. I bound it with cupcake washi.
For the front, I put about 15 pages of a cupcake sticky note pad. I stamped out some cupcakes on striped paper and put red bling hearts for their cherries. I also added a saying from a valentine: "you are sweet as can be!"
When you flip this page up:
 Top page:
I went with ice cream for this page. The two felt pieces on the left are stickers from Target. The one is the middle is a stamp set from Target, the cone and ice cream scoop are separate stamps. The ones on the right are cut out of a thank you card from Dollar Tree.
Bottom page:
The stamped image is from a Stampin' Up stamp set, I colored it in with colored pencils (I am not very good at coloring). I put some donut washi tape on white paper, cut out the donuts and affixed them around the image.
When you flip it down:
 middle page:
I went with a candy theme here. The jelly beans, gumdrops and wrapped candy are old stickers from my stash. I just added the word "yummy" on top.
bottom page:
This one was kind of a backup. I ran out of ideas and decided to put some of my goodies here. The bag is a little mini bag from Target. I put some sprinkle washi on top and spelled out the word "goodies", I used a couple of the washi donuts for the "o's". I put some more of those stamped cupcakes, some cupcake brads, some cupcake stickers, and some washi tape in it.
When you flip it down:
 Third page:
These donuts are layered with foam tape, so they pop up a little. I found the corners of this paper in the garbage, and there were enough double donuts to make the page. I think they are a little bright compared to the rest of the flip book, but I really wanted to use them.
Last page:
I seem to have a lot of cupcake things, I probably could have done a whole cupcake flipbook, but I didn't want to overwhelm my partner with cupcakes.
All the stickers are from Hobby Lobby. The set of three cupcakes are from a cupcake pick that I got in a swap, I believe they are by Tim Ree, so from Micheal's. The cupcake on the right has a resin like top.
The back:
This stamp goes with the other large stamp above.
I had bought a cupcake potholder a few days ago, so I wrapped it up with cupcake ribbon and tucked it in the pot holder.
That 'sucker' sticking out, is actually an eraser. The donut pin and sucker pin were from Walmart. I also tucked a few chocolates in the envelope.
Here's what I got from my partner:
This is how it was packaged up. She made me a paper bag flipbook. I'm so excited to get one of these, it's the first one I've gotten and I LOVE the bags she picked to make it.
The first page:
 First spread:
 Second spread:
 Third spread:
 Fourth spread:
 back:
And all the goodies she tucked inside.
Someday, I may attempt one of these, but like I said, I love this one and am so excited to have received it.

Valentine's pocket letters

I signed up to do two Valentine's pocket letter swaps. Here's one:
I started with the Valentine paper as the background, it's from Hobby Lobby. I started out with a few stickers and decided it would be too busy to just put them on the background, so I cut out these smaller rectangles from black cardstock and layered everything. First row: first pocket the butterfly sticker is from Dollar Tree, the jeweled hearts are from a swap. Second pocket: this sticker is from Hobby Lobby. Third pocket: these are both from Dollar Tree. Second row: First pocket, this sticker is from Dollar Tree. Second pocket, this sticker is from Hobby Lobby. Third pocket, the top sticker is from Dollar Tree, the strip at the bottom is from Hobby Lobby. Third row: First pocket: the die cut is from a swap, the sticker is from Hobby Lobby. Second pocket, this sticker is from Hobby Lobby. Third pocket, this was a tag from a swap.
For this pocket letter, we had to have it double sided, so I just cut up another paper and added it to the back. I didn't realize until I had the pocket letter all packaged up that it had to be double sided, so I took it out and added this paper. The washi on the side is from Hobby Lobby
 Here are my goodies:
I added some paper clips I got in a swap, stickers from Target, and my stash, washi samples, a linen tag, some more stickers, paper scraps and more stickers.
And here's what I got back:
It came apart a little bit in the mail, but she had posted a picture before sending it, so I put it back together. I love the rosette, the love banner and the paper doll.
I realize I didn't take a picture of the other extras she sent me. She sent a few Valentine's cut aparts, some paper flowers, and some more stamped paper dolls.
I love these Julie Nutting paper dolls people are doing. I don't color, it never looks good when I do, so I love it when  people send their creations to me.
Here's my second pocket letter for a different group:
The background paper is from Hobby Lobby. I really wanted to use my stickers on this one.
First row, first card: Lisa Frank stickers, second card: heart stickers from Dollar Tree, heart washi strip from Dollar Tree. Third card: heart stickers from a swap.
Second row, first card: rosette sticker from Dollar Tree, I took out the jewel from the middle and added a heart sticker from Walmart, heart washi strip from Dollar Tree. Second card: heart stickers from Hobby Lobby. Third card: felt owl sticker from Hobby Lobby.
Third row, first card: foam stickers from Hobby Lobby, "and" sign sticker from my stash. Second card: mini sticky notes (under the heart bling) from a swap, bling border (on bottom) from a swap, heart bling from a swap. Third card: felt heart stickers from Hobby Lobby and heart washi strip from Dollar Tree.
And here's what I received from my partner. Sorry about the weird picture, I was at work and trying to minimize the glare:

Get to Know you pocket letter

I signed up for a Get to Know You pocket letter through one of my facebook groups. We had to decorate it with stuff that we liked and add some goodies that went along with stuff we liked.
Here's what I made:
I had a hard time with this one, I'm not sure why.
I used green/blue paper for some of my backgrounds, I'm not sure where I got it. The pink chevron paper was in a paper pack from Hobby Lobby.
First row: First card, I put a "W". Second pocket: an owl on books stamp. Third pocket: my favorite colors of green and blue, but I'm also trying to get into purple.
Second Row: First card, I put a swimsuit sticker on a sticky note that was flip flops. Second card: I put washi with words and stamped some quotes on a banner sticky note. Third card: a monster sticker and monster washi.
Third Row: First card, buttons. Second card: a girl with cupcake stamp and some donut washi. Third card: emoji stickers.
Here's the goodies:
I put my note behind the W, I put a magnetic bookmark to go with the books, I added some samples of the washi I put on the front. I gave her some of the flip flop sticky notes, I put in some heart page flags and a cupcake eraser, I put in a monster notebook and some monster stickers. I put in some emoji stickers, I put in a piece of chocolate and a cupcake sticker, I put in some buttons.
So, basically, I love W's, collect owls and books, my favorite colors, my favorite season is summer my birthday is July 2nd, I hoard stationary items: stickers, page flags, sticky notes, etc, I like monsters, I like buttons, I like sweets and I like emojis.
Here's what I got in return:
 And her goodies:
She likes to garden and bake. She loves Christmas and is very religious.

I have more posts coming soon, just waiting on some return items. I have been crafting lately, I actually may have signed up for a few too many swaps because I was going through crafting withdrawal.
