Spring pocket letter

I signed up to do a spring pocket letter swap in one of my groups, we had a couple things we had to include on the front: a flower, a bicycle and a spring sentiment:

 I decided to create it as a sheet and then cut it apart to make it pocket letter. I added the flowers from another sheet to the side. I found the cute animals on bicycles stickers in my stash and added the sentiment stickers.
We also had to include specific things as goodies in the back: something handmade and washi samples

 I found some bird epoxy stickers in my stash, die cuts, stickers, sticky notes, altered paper clips washi samples.

 Unfortunately, she didn't follow the directions for the swap. We were supposed to have a bicycle, a flower and a spring sentiment on the front, and something handmade and washi samples in the back.
So, I was sent a replacement pocket letter:

 I love that she stamped images and cut them out. I don't use stamps as much as I used to. I also suck at coloring images, so when someone makes/colors them for me I get excited.

ATCs

I signed up for two ATC swaps in my groups. The first is an ATC tag:

 I wanted to do something with flowers, and someone had commented on how much I could create with all the postage stamps I bought a few weeks ago. I didn't think about creating with them, so I made this ATC.

I also signed up for a Spring ATCs swap:

Apparently I'm just out of whack at creating ATCs, these were hard for me too. I wanted to use the boots, so I put them on a background of umbrellas, added the cloud stickers and the rainy day sentiment. The other one, I just added some leafy washi and the gardening gloves and flower stickers.

One of the group sI'm in on Facebook, is sort of about snails, so everytime I see one now, I'm excited.

Spring Tag

I signed up to make a spring tag in one of my groups. We had to make a tag that was 3.5x5 or larger, it had to have a butterfly or dragonfly and a flower on it. I was really not interested in making this, not because I didn't want to do it, I've just been having a hard time getting creative lately. I signed up for a bunch of swaps in this one group to get me to be more creative, but it's not happening. I'm staying signed up for them, but I'm not feeling a ton more creative. I did this tag last Tuesday. I was getting my swaps together for my groups and was so excited to be done and then realized I still had to make this tag.
Here's what I created:

 I totally stole the picture my partner posted in our group, mine turned out very blurry. Anywho, this tag came together in like 5 minutes. I already had the tag, I found the doily, the layered flower, the sentiment and the butterfly in my stash. Sometimes I don't have to be creative, I just need to have the right pieces and put them together.
I love how it turned out.

Spring Flower loaded bag

I signed up for a Spring Flower loaded bag in one of my groups. Here's what I made:

 I covered the front and back with this vintagey looking flower paper and some flower washi. I added a paper flower and a gem to the middle of it. I included some flower paper clips and tags.

 I added a fabric flower and some trim.

I included some paper straws, flower embellishments, paper pads, napkins and paper to the bag.

Crafter's Surprise

One of the swaps I signed up for on my facebook groups was a crafter's surprise. Basically we were given a list of things to choose three from and send to our partner. We were not to tell our partner what we were sending. We could choose three items from this list: a pocket letter, flipbook, loaded envelope, three altered tags (3x6), six altered paper clips, six altered clothespins, six inchies, three altered puzzle pieces, three altered dominoes, six embellishments (2x2), three index cards, three decorated wands and/or a combination of pinwheels, three rolodex cards, four handmade ribbon or paper flowers and a file folder mini album.
I chose six altered paper clips:

The butterfly is a sticker from Dollar Tree, the cameo I got in a swap, the bee is a sticker from Hobby Lobby, the panda is a sticker from Dollar Tree, the coffee is a button I got in a swap and the owl is a sticker from Dollar Tree.

Six altered clothespins:

 I put some flowery washi on them and then added either pearls or words.
Six inchies:

These were a challenge. I've never done inchies before, they are one inch square pieces. The backgrounds are all scraps. First one: I added a flower sticker and some butterflies, I also added a jewel to the middle of the flower. Second one: the flower is a sticker from Dollar Tree, I just added a sticker word from my stash to it. I think this one is my favorite. Third one: the frame was on another sticker, I just layered it with foam tape on top of the frog sticker. Fourth one: I made a little banner on the bottom and added a sticker, the birdhouse is popped up on foam tape. Fifth one: the flower is from Hobby Lobby, the white piece is from a swap, I just added a jewel to the middle. Sixth one: The background here is actually washi from Dollar Tree, I added a horse sticker, a word sticker and some pearls.
I tried to challenge myself with the inchies and altered clothespins, but also did something I've done before with the altered paperclips. I just noticed they were supposed to be a spring theme, I think they fit that even though I didn't think about it when creating them.

mini spring pocket letters

I signed up for a mini spring pocket letter swap through facebook, and decided to sign up for three partners. I used some purple paper I was sent in a swap for the background. I tried to incorporate washi in all of them, since I usually put it on the side.
Here's what I made:

 I think this one is my favorite. I put some washi on the bottom that I got from Peachy Cheap. The flowers are from a sticker book I got in a swap. The birds, rainbow and kite are from a sticker book from JoAnn's.

 This one I framed each card in the skinny washi I got at the Dollar Tree. The two snail stickers are from a swap. The flower stickers are from Dollar Tree as well as the flying bug.

This one I used some washi from JoAnn's and some skinny washi from Dollar Tree. I used some purple Scotch washi with some more of the skinny washi to make the banner in the corner. On the first card, the raccoon is from an Easter egg from Walmart, the bee is from an Easter sticker sheet from Walmart. On the second card the bunny and flying heart are from Chicago, the toadstools are from my stash, the "Hello" is from Walmart. On the third card, the top sticker is from Amazon, the birds are from Dollar Tree and the bunny is from a swap.

May Day pocket letter

I signed up to create a May Day pocket letter for one of my facebook groups. Here's what I made:

We had to include at least one flower in some form, plus ribbon and something with glitter.
I had just gotten those new flower stickers in the mail from someone and wanted to use them in this. I wanted to put stickers that had the flowers in jars. I used one flower from each of the sticker sheets, but I only had about six, so I had to improvise with some stickers from my stash.
The background is just pink and white diagonal stripes. Like I said I used a flower sticker from each of those sticker sheets. The sticker sheets are actually 3D, but to make them last longer, I usually separate the layers, so I did that. I also had to improvise and use a basket full of flowers instead of a jar for one of the pockets. The top and bottom middle stickers are from Hobby Lobby, I was hesitant to use them, cause I really like those stickers, but I felt I could go back and get them in the future. The middle pocket also has a sticker from Hobby Lobby, I didn't have one last sticker of flowers in a jar, but this sticker goes well with the other two from Hobby Lobby. There is glitter on some of the stickers. My ribbon is on the bottom, it's a vintage green Sateen ribbon, I also added some paper flowers, some that are glittered to the ribbon. The side has some great flowery washi from Micheal's.

I love that die cut window, very cute.
I am a little disappointed though, we were supposed to have ribbon on our pocket letter and include a sample of ribbon as one of the goodies.

Spring pocket letter

One of the swaps I signed up for on facebook was for a spring pocket letter. Here's what I sent:

The background paper is from Hobby Lobby. The washi on the side is from Dollar Tree. I created a 'sun' at the top with yellow cardstock and ribbon. The bug stickers were from my stash. The blue and green butterflies were from a swap. The pink butterfly on the right was from a swap. The pink butterfly on the left is from my stash. I spelled out 'It's spring' with letters from Dollar Tree. I created the flowers on the bottom with rick rack for the stems (it was from a swap), paper flowers (from a swap), button centers (from my stash) and bling (from a swap). I added a grasshopper sticker from Walmart and a caterpillar sticker from Dollar Tree.
