mini pocket letter

I signed up to do a private swap with someone, we decided to do a mini pocket letter with no theme. Here's what I created:
I went with a unicorn theme, because I had them out for another swap. I just layered some paper and the unicorns with some stickers. I was also trying to keep it somewhat flat since postage has gone up again.
Here's what my partner sent me:
I like that she chose butterflies as the theme.
The goodies:
Love the bunny diecuts and the ladybug stickers.

Mini Hedgehog pocket letters

I signed up for a mini hedgehog pocket letter swap, because hedgehogs.
I don't have separate pictures for each pocket letter. I try to sign up for three when I do mini pocket letters because it's easier because you have to cut up a regular pocket letter sleeve.
So, I used a fall leaf paper as the background, and made them all about the same, but slightly different. I used the metallic dimensional pumpkin stickers (Hobby Lobby) with a hedgehog from a sticker pack (swap), some mushroom stickers (Dollar Tree), some more hedgehog stickers (Target), some gold word stickers (Dollar Tree) and a stamped hedgehog image (Stampin Up). One reason I signed up for this swap is because of those Stampin Up stamps, I bought them years ago because they are hedgehogs, but I find them hard to stamp because of all the detail in them.
Not enough people signed up for me to have three partners, so I got two, here's what I got in return:
 The goodies:
I love the paper clips and the hedgehog images.
I had to take a picture of the back, because she made each card into tiny envelopes and put her goodies in those.
What I got from my other partner:
 The goodies:
How cute is that hedgehog reading a book, and the create your own fish bowl sticker set?

Mini Halloween pocket letter

I'm not a huge fan of Halloween. I liked it when I was little and got some cool candy, and then when I was in high school and my friend had a party every Halloween, but it doesn't do anything for me nowadays. It seems like the candy isn't as cool, I don't get trick-or-treaters, but I do love seeing the little kids dress up for downtown trick or treaters.
I'm also not that interested in Halloween art stuff, but I like seeing what other people make and in order to have those things, I have to create Halloween stuff.
I signed to do a mini Halloween pocket letter in one of my facebook groups. Here's what I made:
I had some paper from another pocket letter, so I trimmed them down for the cards. I also used some vintage ephemera that I picked up at Micheal's last year. It's very simple, but I like it.
Here's the back:
I just put in some more of the vintage ephemera for my partner.
My hope in signing up for mini pocket letters is to keep them at one stamp when mailing, but I'm not that good at it. I think I may have achieved it this time.
How cute is the way my partner packaged my return swap?
 The front:
 and back:
I didn't realize the skeleton was actually attached to the pocket letter until I opened it.

Unicorn/fairy mini pocket letters

I've really embraced the unicorn/mermaid thing. I feel I've done a lot of mermaid art swaps, but not so many unicorn ones, so I signed up for a unicorn/fairy mini pocket letter. I'm generally not a huge fan of the mini pocket letters because I have to cut apart my pocket sleeves and they're so much smaller (which I get is the appeal), but I like to create a whole page and put a bunch of goodies in them.
I wished for unicorn ephemera on one of my facebook groups, and they sure delivered:

Sadly, I found out I could not find fairy ephemera anywhere. I looked at Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Hobby Lobby (I probably should have checked out JoAnn's). I found one sheet of very large fairy stickers at Dollar Tree and bought them (but ended up not using them).
Here's what I made:
For this one, I just cut out some random papers for the backgrounds, then I added these springy tags I got at Target at the beginning of spring but never used. The two fairy stickers were sent on a card for something else, I peeled them off very carefully and put them on the tags. The unicorn is actually Lisa Frank it's from a sticker book from Dollar Tree. I also added some heart washi and a blingy flower trim to the bottom. I stuck the tags on with foam tape with the idea that my partner could use them if she wanted.
Again, I went with plainer backgrounds. The unicorns are all from that bunch that I was sent, I picked out two taller ones to face each other for the ends. The middle one is supposed to look like she's jumping over the fairy. The fairies on the ends were sent to me in a swap, as well as the middle one. I added some sequin birds to the first card, round sequins with bling in the middle to the second one and some sequin butterflies to the third one.
I already had this sleeve filled with the background paper, so I just added to it. The first card has some stamped fairies that I found in my stamped image bag, they are on mushrooms so I added a mushroom sticker from a swap. Again the unicorns are all from that bunch above, as is the rainbow. The fairy on the second card is also from my stash. I added a felt flower from Hobby Lobby to the last card, and made it look like my unicorn is hiding under it. I saw on a YouTube video that someone had framed their pocket letter in jewels, so I thought I'd try it on this one.
I tried to add a little bling to all of them. I don't have a picture of the goodies, but I tried to add another of the unicorns I used and a copy of the fairies I used. I had also made a few unicorn paper clips from that bunch, and added one to each pocket letter.
Here's what I got from my partners:
The goodies:
I like the paperclips and the washi. I'm not a big fan of the page flags.
More goodies:
I wish people would ask if you use planner stuff.
And my second partner:
The goodies:
I love all the stickers, and the washi and the pictures and even those I'm not a sequin person, I like this little mix.
And my third partner:
Everything fell out in the envelope and she didn't tell me what was supposed to be decorating the pocket letter. I like the die cuts, the sticko stickers and the unicorn paperclip.

mini fairy pocket letter

I signed up to do a mini fairy pocket letter in one of my groups. Sadly, I found I didn't have any fairy stickers or stamps, so I made my own fairies:
This is the front. I took some of my foam people I bought at Goodwill and put them on butterfly wings. I really like how they turned out. The butterfly wings are all from Dollar Tree
Here's the back:
I added a cat fairy sticker to the first card and continued making my own for the rest of the cards. The butterflies are all from Dollar Tree.
While looking for fairy stickers at Hobby Lobby earlier this week, I found this great fairy house:
I really wanted to buy it.
I received my return pocket letter on Friday:
I love it. The side has a bunch of fibers on it, she used some die cuts and very cute fairy stickers.
The back:
she used some washi on the bottom with mushroom stickers on the first card, and a cute colored fairy picture on the last one.
Here's the goodies:
She included some more of the fibers, a lot of Tinkerbell and friends fairies, another colored picture, etc.

Vintage mini pocket letter

I made a vintage mini pocket letter as a RAK for one of my facebook groups. A RAK is a random act of kindness, basically you make or just send something just for the heck of it to someone else.
I took some vintagey travel ATC backgrounds from Hobby Lobby and decorated them. For the first one, I added a vintage picture (I don't know if it's an actual photograph or just a picture). I added a banner and some words to the top. For the second one, I added the 'air mail' ephemera and the train to the bottom, I added some ink to the train piece. For the last one, I added the bird picture and layered some flower punches and a heart punch.

mini spring pocket letters

I signed up for a mini spring pocket letter swap through facebook, and decided to sign up for three partners. I used some purple paper I was sent in a swap for the background. I tried to incorporate washi in all of them, since I usually put it on the side.
Here's what I made:
I think this one is my favorite. I put some washi on the bottom that I got from Peachy Cheap. The flowers are from a sticker book I got in a swap. The birds, rainbow and kite are from a sticker book from JoAnn's.
This one I framed each card in the skinny washi I got at the Dollar Tree. The two snail stickers are from a swap. The flower stickers are from Dollar Tree as well as the flying bug.
This one I used some washi from JoAnn's and some skinny washi from Dollar Tree. I used some purple Scotch washi with some more of the skinny washi to make the banner in the corner. On the first card, the raccoon is from an Easter egg from Walmart, the bee is from an Easter sticker sheet from Walmart. On the second card the bunny and flying heart are from Chicago, the toadstools are from my stash, the "Hello" is from Walmart. On the third card, the top sticker is from Amazon, the birds are from Dollar Tree and the bunny is from a swap.
Here's what I got from my partners:
 The goodies:
I love that strip of flower stickers.
Another partner:
She had is all wrapped up in this cute plastic envelope.
Here's the front:
 And the back:
I love how she added pockets to the outside of the actual pocket letter.
And here's the goodies:
I bought that same game tablet to send out in my springy swaps.
And my third partner:

mini pocket letter

I signed up to do a private swap with someone on facebook for a mini pocket letter. Here's what I received from her in the mail yesterday:
I love it. It's very bright and springy.
Here's the goodies she sent:
I think those little 2x2 pieces would make nice little cards.
I didn't realize she had mailed it, and that I would receive it so quickly, so this is what's going out in the mail for her today:
The background gray paper is from Hobby Lobby. The colorful rectangles are from JoAnn's. I wanted to do springy as well. The flower stickers are from Hobby Lobby (now that I've basically used the whole sheet, I feel I need to buy more), the horses are from Dollar Tree, the words are from JoAnn's. The green washi on the side was from a swap.
I hope she likes it, I LOVE how it turned out.

Mini Initial PL

I've never made a mini pocket letter before, they should be easier than regular pocket letters because you cut the pocket page into threes, fill up one row for the mini pocket letter. I just didn't want to cut up my pocket pages. I had gotten one in a swap that wasn't in the greatest of shape, so I cut it up for this swap.
We had to take our partner's first or last initial and create something with them. My partner's initials were V and C. I really wanted to create something really cool with the V, but even after perusing my dictionary, I really didn't find much that inspired me.
Here's what I sent her:
I actually did use a violet background, and on the first one I used vellum, so I got a little bit of V in there.
I ended up paper piecing this cactus stamp from Micheal's. I used some Dollar Tree stickers for coffee. I used a couple Dollar Tree stickers and a dimensional sticker from Hobby Lobby for cupcake.
Here's what my partner sent me:
 And here's the pocket letter:
 Here are all the goodies:
