private pocket letter swap

I miss doing pocket letters, so I signed up to do a private swap with someone.
The background is black with white polka dots, I added some border strips, but unfortunately the pictures kinda covered them up more than I meant to. I basically just cut them from the back of a calendar. It's very simple, but I like it.
Here's the goodies:
letter, border strips, some lace, washi samples, used postage stamps, the rest of the pictures from the calendar, some word stickers, bling and some inchies.
The back:
A nice weathered wood paper.
Here's what I received in return:
 Back:
This is not a pocket letter in my opinion. I like the paper, but that's all she did was cut up paper to fit into the pocket sheet.

Pocket letter tag

I signed up for a pocket letter tag.
I already had the fruity background done, and basically just added a bunch of Dollar Tree stickers:
I love how it turned out.
The goodies:
letter, used postage, stickers, foam sparkly flower stickers, washi samples, football helmet die cuts, stickers, scraps of paper.
I covered the back with pear paper and conveniently forgot to take a picture.
Here's what I received in return:
The back:
It's about the simplest pocket letter I've ever gotten.

October calendar tag

It's time for the October Calendar Tag. I wanted to do something that wasn't Halloween, cause like I said, I got rid of my Halloween crafting stuff, so I went with pumpkins.
I started with a piece of orange cardstock and added some sunflower pieces along with some pumpkin stickers. I thought the felt pumpkin on the left was too plain, so I added some sequins to it. I didn't like the whiteness of the calendar, so I swiped it with green and brown inkpads. I added some orangey ribbon to the top.
Here's what I received in return:
Obviously my partner went with Halloween, which is fine. It is a huge tag, I realize there's nothing to compare the size to, but I think it was at least 12" tall. Love it
Here are the extras she included:
Lots of good stuff.

bird pocket letter

I signed up to make a bird pocket letter, though I'm not sure why, I had the hardest time figuring out what to do.
The background is a floral cardstock, I fussy cut some birds from a calendar and mod podged them to the background, then I cut the paper up to make the pocket letter. I added some embellishments of lacy stickers to the second, third and sixth cards. The first card has some washi on the bottom. I added an extra flower sticker to the fourth card. The seventh card has some pearls at the bottom and the ninth card has a sticker in the corner.
I love the mod podged look. It's been a long time since I've mod podged anything.
The goodies:
Some bird images, feather sticky notes, feather punch outs, stickers, owl sticky notes, bird themed washi, more stickers. I also taped some bird cards to the back of the pocket letter.
The back:
flamingo paper
Here's what I received in return:
It's cute and simple.
The goodies:
Also very simple, not a lot in it, but that's ok. The front is more important than the goodies.

Decorated washi tube

I signed up to decorate a washi tube. Basically you take one of those plastic tubes that washi comes in and alter/decorate it and fill it with goodies. It sounded like a good deal at the time, but I realized I don't have a lot of fall crafting items.
I originally covered the tube with some fall paper and added some leaf mesh ribbon on top, along with some silk fall leaves. I added some pumpkin ribbon to the bottom. I cut off the hanging loop from the top piece and glued on a mini pumpkin. I added some fake flowers to cover the ugliness of the glue with gems in their centers.
Here's what I filled it with:
A stamp, some washi, some mini clothespins, some yellow powder medium, some buttons, some resin pieces and a paper clip.
Here's what I received in return:
This is a FALL decorated washi tube, not Halloween. I'm not excited about that.
She did put a lot of fall and just crafting stuff in the tube:
 I'm keeping 90% of it.
These were in the Jack-o-lantern bag. I'm keeping some of the foam stickers and the day of the dead skull.
The goodies. I ate the chocolate, and will be passing on the rest to a friend.

large sewing tag

I signed up to make a sewing tag, but liked it so much I had to keep it for myself and create another one.
The background is some sewing themed patterned paper. I added some lace to the bottom with a measuring tape trim. I wrapped some spool buttons with thread and added them to the bottom. I fell in love with the tag after adding the zipper tape. I also added a sewing machine and scissors charm to the zipper pull.
Here's the one I made for the swap:
Basically the same, I just used different buttons. I added the Sew Beautiful sticker on the left side and a scissors sticker to the right side. I added the sewing machine charm to the string at the top.
I still like how it turned out.
This is what I received in return:
I have the sticker pack she used for the buttons and thread spool.
She also included some extras:

ATC

I love doing ATCs and I love getting back into doing them for this group. I'm challenging myself to keep them flat, so I can just send them with one postage stamp.
Again, I cleaned up my desk making this:
The background and piece on the right are scraps. I added the circle piece and the stickers of the monster and words. I think I should have gone more muted and used something other than the monster.
Here's what I received in return:
I love the use of the old photograph with the minimal embellishments.
